Senior Pastor - Cederick D. McMillan

Pastor Cederick (referred by many simply as “Pastor Ced”) is the founding pastor of New Birth Community Church. He continues to marvel at God’s favor and blessings to New Birth since its inception in 2008. Pastor Cederick is known to be a pastor of energy, love, and passion. His number one desire is to see people blessed in all areas of their life. Seeing people experience God in a new way is his greatest mission as pastor of New Birth.

In his free time, Pastor McMillan enjoys playing golf, cooking, reading/writing, and traveling. Pastor McMillan is married to Whitney McMillan. They are the proud parents of Kayden Elizabeth and Madison McKenzie McMillan.

Facilities Director - Gina Scott

Gina has been a part of New Birth since its inception in 2008. She has been married to Tilton Scott for 25 years and is the proud mother of their three children (Tilton, Brandon, Sean), and the 2nd mom to Trameka Scott. She is the proud "MeMe" of her little angel, Trenton. Her love for and experience with event planning as a business owner (Gas Blast Travel Agency since 2005) has helped her dive into her role as the Family Life Center Director. She enjoys decorating, reading, and traveling. She lives by the words of Matthew 5:8, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”

Youth Counselor & Worship Leader-    Candace Williams

Candace has been a part of New Birth since its inception in 2008. She is the proud mother of three children (Chris, Olivia, and Tyler). Her love for and experience with children as a mother has helped her dive into her role as Youth Counselor. In this role, she oversees a thriving ministry that seeks to sow God’s word into the hearts of our youth. Musically, Candace has been a vocal teacher for over nine (9) years and has been a worship leader for the past eight (8) years. Candace attended Stillman College where she majored in Music. Lastly, Candance serves as the armourbearer to our first lady, Lady Whitney McMillan. She enjoys singing, cooking, traveling, playing board games, and writing poetry.

Youth Counselor - Mario Williams

Mario has been a supporter of New Birth since he met Pastor Cederick in the Fall of 2008. Mario officially came on staff in 2009. Mario has a clear understanding of the vision of New Birth. Not only is Mario active with the youth ministry, he also serves as the armour bearer for Pastor Cederick. In addition to those responsibilities, Mario is passionate about the Bible and preaching that helps people to see the relevance of Scripture in their everyday lives.  In his free time, Mario enjoys playing cards (spades), Monopoly (in which he crushes his opponents), and traveling.

Minister of Music - Benard Jenkins

Benard has been a part of New Birth since its inception in 2008. He has been married to Minister Connecyt Jenkins for the past 12 years and is the proud father of six. His love for and experience in music has helped him dive into his role as Minister of Music. Benard is a well sought out musician who has been playing since he was a teenager. In this role, he oversees the entire music program at New Birth. In addition to his work at New Birth, Benard is a Police Officer and Funeral Home Director. Benard enjoys traveling, playing cards (spades), and playing the organ.

Administrative Assistant -Danyelle Webb

Danyelle has attended New Birth Since November 2008 and has been on staff since January 2009. She is married to Cliff and is the proud mother of three (Al, Alex, and Daniel). Her accounting skills, computer skills, and people skills allows New Birth to run effectively. Danyelle enjoys reading, computer games, cooking, and football. Her favorite verse is, “cast all your care upon him; for he careth for you!”-1 Peter 5:7.
