3.   Mission: The Mission of New Birth Community Church is to connect people to the love of God and Guide them to their destiny!

New Birth began as a group of young adults who were searching for a church that was focused on empowering Christians. By early 2008 we started to meet regularly to discuss how to make a difference. After much prayer and fasting is was agreed to start a ministry to connect people to the love of God and guide them to their destiny. After much discussion, organizing and prayer, New Birth opened its doors for the first time on May 4, 2008. We began as a small group leasing a church from a local Nazarene Church. But by the help of God, we are growing by leaps and bounds. By November 2008, Pastor McMillan felt God about to bless us with our own home.  On December 25, 2008 we acquired 1329 Forest Ridge Road West. After staying at that location for 18 months, God finally fulfiled his promise and gave New Birth Community Church its official home at 2700 First Avenue! Truly, the "Lord has made room for us!" (Gen. 46).   Our mission has remained the same and we are constantly exploring new and innovative ways to connect people to Christ. And today we are ministry to ALL GENERATIONS!

At New Birth we believe that worship is a lifestyle, not a Sunday morning experience. Here at New Birth we are not scared to be the unconventional. By opening up and allowing the Holy Spirit to work we understand that blessings come full circle and we in turn are blessed. All because we allowed God to work.

The services at New Birth are Spirit driven. However, time is valued. Each week we connect as one corporate body to Worship, Praise, and Learn. Pastor McMillan’s sermons are practical, life-changing messages of hope. They focus on issues that are impacting our lives with an emphasis on sharing, encouragement, learning and growth. In addition, we also offer exciting services and ministries for our Children and Youth.

Our story continues to unfold each day. However, we know that “if God can do anything, God can do everything. There is NOTHING too hard for God!”
